Erol Degerli is an energy sector executive with over twenty-one years of experience spanning corporate finance, electricity distribution and retail sales, and renewable energy infrastructure. Since March 2022, he has served as Chairman of the Board of KT Solar Enerji Elektrik Üretim Tic. A.Ş., overseeing solar power plant construction across Turkey. He previously served as General Manager of CK Akdeniz Elektrik Perakende Satış A.Ş., a retail electricity company serving 2 million customers, and held senior finance leadership roles — including CFO & Regulation Director and Deputy CFO — at Sakarya Elektrik Satış A.Ş. and Akcez Enerji Yatırımları A.Ş. under Akkök Holding. Earlier in his career, he worked in project and acquisition finance and internal audit at Garanti Bank. He holds a degree in Political Science and Public Administration from Middle East Technical University and completed an Upper Management Development Programme at Sabancı University.
